Mitsubishi America used their Spring 2007 dealer line show in NY to show off premium HD panels and projectors designed to cater to their historic audience of high-income early adopters, home theater owners and ordinary folk aspiring to own Mitsubishi quality HD TVs, projectors and displays.

For the first time, Mitsubishi is 1080P "all across the board.." 1080P direct resolution exclusively in DLP Projectors and flat panels.

Mitsubishi's 1080P LCD panels boast a 25% improved color gamut space over previous models. Smooth 120 Hz drive for LCDs improves sports scene rendering by rendering imagery faster than broadcast (24 to 60Hz) frame rates, minimizing blur.

Mitsubishi’s Full Spectrum Color results in 25% more color than standard LCD. Reds and yellows become more vivid and there are more available shades of Green, Cyan, and Blue. Mitsubishi claims the result is a more vivid and more realistic image across all models.

Mitsubishi continues its 6 color light engine for rear DLP projectors and adds a special Game FX mode to bring out the richest detail in HiDef games from PCs, Sony's PS3 and Microsoft's Xbox 360.

Mitsubishi's Deep Color creates smooth transitions and between different shades and eliminates color bands and complements x.v.Colors wide color pallet. Enabled by HDMI 1.3, Deep Color goes beyond previous 8-bit HDTV. x.v.Color is Mitsubishi's new Standard in High Definition Color! x.v.Color’s Wide Color Palette enables up to 80% more color than standard HDTV for increased realism and vivid, natural colors for all models.

The Laser's Touch
Mitsubishi pledged to publicly show its much anticipated Laser Color Rear projector in time for the Winter 2008 CES Show in Las Vegas. However, dealer speculation was soon abuzz that CES is a date placeholder and the company was racing to ship some product in 4Q 2007 to U.S. Retailers; perhaps as a premium incentive to the best qualified specialty dealers.
